The Institute for Healthcare Education Leadership and Professionals (“iHELP”) (a 501 (c) (3) is a nonprofit organization) (the-ihelp.org) and the National Association for Black Veterinarians (“NABV”), (nabvonline.org) is an initiative of the organization. NABV is the first iHELP initiative independent of any other veterinary medicine organization. iHELP’s ultimate mission is to increase the number of Black people in healthcare education, healthcare leadership, and the different healthcare professions. We provide networking opportunities, high-quality professional development, and information about healthcare career choices to K-12 students, pre-health undergraduate students, and students in healthcare professional degree programs.
